Base Fare 

Although Allegiant air base fares are low-cost fares, you must pay the extra cost for the additional services or any add-ons you want with your flights. For instance, if you are flying from Point A to B on your regular seat, your flight will include the basic fare & a personal bag ( a tote bag, handbag, backpack, or laptop bag). If you do not buy any extras, you will not get any assigned seat; instead, the airlines will give you a random seat. 

Alternatively, you can purchase a preferred seat before you board. This will cost you more, but you can sit where you want. And you can purchase seats with extra legroom and fly comfortably.

It is a basic fare where they will be an unassigned seat, and you can carry a personal bag.

As we all know, Allegiant Air is a budget airline. It means the inflight amenities will be limited to the other airlines.   

  • Allegiant doesn’t offer its passengers Wi-fi services, video streaming gadgets, or any other onboard entertainment.

Trip Flex 

Any itinerary that contains TripFlex is exempt from change and cancellation fees. TripFlexT can only be used once. Any future alteration or cancellation requests, if made, will be treated as itineraries without TripFlex and be subject to the time constraints, rules, and costs outlined above. 

Only within 24 hours of ticket purchase, and only if there have been no modifications to the schedule, is TripFlex subject to cancellation. The airline will give you a refund if TripFlex is canceled through Customer Care within 24 hours. A non-refundable/non-transferable voucher which is helpful for future trips, will be offered if TripFlex is canceled online. For credit vouchers/future credits issued b/w January 1, 2020, & June 30, 2021, the trip must be finished within two years of the original booking date. 

Allegiant Air Miles Program 

Allegiant Allways Rewards is the Allegiant Air Miles Program. It was launched in the summer of 2021 and effectively functioned as a rebate program compared to other airlines’ traditional loyalty programs. 

Passengers can earn points with every purchase they make via Allegiant. It means you are not restricted to earning points on tickets only.  

Passengers can also redeem their miles or points at 1 cent /point towards any purchase that Allegiant is providing on its website, from tickets to hotel stays. The other services you can buy using your miles are

Allegiant Air Policies 

Baggage Policy 

Personal Item 

1 person bag including a briefcase, purse, laptop/ computer, small backpack, or small camera, which you can store under your seat in front of you. It must not be larger than the maximum size, i.e., 7” x 15” x 16”. 

Carry-on Bags 

1 carry-on baggage is allowed, like a garment bag, tote bag, or roll abroad bag must not be larger than the maximum size, i.e., 9” x 14” x 22”.  


Any modifications or cancellations must be made seven days before the departure date. 

Allegiant will not issue any credit if the passenger fails to cancel their itinerary within the given time frame before the scheduled flight departure. The airline will forfeit the entire fare amount and additional fees for a particular ticket segment.  

All prices above apply to complete itinerary cancellations, and Allegiant keeps all carrier fees and associated booking fees. 

Refund Policy 

A non-refundable/non-transferable voucher (valid for future travel) will be given to qualified bookings with credit balances from changes or cancellations. 

Passengers can request a refund for their tickets online or contact the airline’s representatives by phone.  

Check-in Policy 

Online check-in 

Passengers can check-in for their flights online before departure. The check-in window opens 24 hours before the scheduled flight and closes45 minutes before departure. You can check in by visiting the check-in option under the manage booking option; however, you must provide the reservation details. 

Airport Check-in 

The airport check-in counter of Allegiant Air will close at least 45 minutes before the flight’s departure time. Passengers must come at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time. It will also give extra time to check in quickly and for checking in your checked bags.  

Flight Change 

Airline ticket changes are possible, but they come with a $25 per person per segment cost in addition to applicable airfare increases.  

The segment will include one landing and one takeoff. If there is a price difference from what was initially paid, changes to the previous flight can be eligible for a credit. The difference won’t be reimbursed. 

Name Change 

Allegiant Air doesn’t allow passengers to change their names on their air tickets. That’s why it is recommended to put everything carefully when making a reservation Allegiant Air. As there will be no room for changes or adjustments to the details.
